ABOUT CDR
CDR is the only Southern California recycling facility that was designed to specifically handle the materials that come out of commercial interior construction and demolition projects. While most facilities target the heaviest, easiest to handle materials like framing lumber, concrete and asphalt, CDR concentrates on the lighter, harder to handle materials that cause significant environmental damage in landfills.
WHAT WE DO
At CDR we accept C&D debris from the public, as well as private companies across Southern California. We sort the debris and ship the commodities to local recycling facilities and end users to achieve the maximum diversion possible. We make it a point to educate our clients, the cities we serve, and the public as a whole about the dangers of improperly handled C&D debris, and how they can help to make a difference in an industry that is responsible for nearly half of the materials that end up in California landfills.

3rd Party Verified
Third-party verification of recycling rates ensures data accuracy and reliability, fostering public trust by demonstrating genuine sustainability efforts. It helps companies comply with regulations, avoid penalties, and benchmark their performance against industry standards, identifying areas for improvement and setting sustainability goals, all while protecting consumers from “greenwashing”.
Verified rates also boost consumer confidence by proving a company’s commitment to environmental stewardship and differentiating truly sustainable businesses from those making false claims. For policymakers, verified data is crucial for creating effective waste management strategies and realistic recycling targets, promoting accountability, and supporting sustainability initiatives.
